2024 was my first dabble at Aroma Fest and was a reminder of my lingering Covid symptoms affecting my sense of smell. Ruth however, has the nose of a blood hound, so this year, we decided to go together. I booked our train tickets, Ruth booked time off her 9-5 job and we were heading to the ‘big smoke’ as she calls it.

I had spoken about all the different hops I would like to use in up coming recipes, so it was an opportunity to get someone else’s opinion on what they thought too.
