We hosted our first collab brew day at our Rochdale premises on 22 August for the return leg of our partnership with Ken and Adam of Mysterious Brewing. We wanted a beer neither of us had in our current range, and we settled on an ESB (extra special bitter).
Brew day started at 7.30am making sure everything was ready and weighed for their arrival at 8.30am, when we were soon ready to mash in. Having a couple of experienced brewers to help out made it an easy brew day.
Ken and Adam were driving back down to Reading the next day. As this meant they were unable to make our Birthday Bash, we popped into the Baum so they could taste our beer on cask. Beers were consumed, laughs were had, and we finished the night on a high readying ourselves for another brew day and our birthday celebrations.
