Webshop launch.

With our first beer packaged into kegs and cans the next job was to actually start selling it. Although I am proud of Ash & Elm, I have to admit a bit of imposter syndrome was kicking in and worried about becoming a sales person.

Happily, my first meeting, with Ben from the Lancashire Hospitality Group, went very well and subsequently led to my first keg sale. This week I will be delivering said keg to The Hare on the Hill in Littleborough. I’m looking forward to drinking my own draught beer for the first time myself so I’m sure I’ll be putting some snaps out on our socials.

Next on the agenda was launching the webshop, knowing I had a number of customers eager to get their hands on some cans of Ash & Elm. Here I have to give enormous credit to Ruth. I ‘may’ have been able to get the webshop online without her – but I’m enormously glad for all that she did. If you’re already on our mailing list (or sign up here), you will know from the flurry of emails there were a few teething troubles. Now though, we’re confident that you can order our own beers, and a few guest beers too. In celebration of launching our webshop, we are offering 10% discount on orders until 31 October.

With only one Bríd’s Cross beer available for the time being, until we can schedule more brew days, we have a selection of guest beers available online. I was always planning on offering a few beers from other breweries, and, as far as possible, to stock beers from breweries I have a personal connection with. With a range of beer styles available, I’m sure you will find something to tickle your taste buds.
